We’re just a few weeks away from seeing Supergirl and The Flash team up in live-action, but from the sounds of it the “Worlds Finest” have more in common than just superpowers. Cast and crew tease Barry and Kara’s big teamup, including a surprising spark, a legendary race, and an “infectious and exciting and upbeat and happy” tale to remember.
Still a broadcast rating juggernaut, CBS could make the argument more than most for extending or cutting short its most recognizable hits, and with TCA putting the Eye in the limelight, CBS has good news and bad. We may not have to worry about The Big Bang Theory returning after next season, while Mike & Molly’s closure is official, and both The Good Wife and Person of interest get dubious futures.
We’re closer than ever to Stephen Colbert’s Late Show debut on September 8, and while George Clooney’s guest appearance gave a marquee head start, the full guest list for Colbert’s full week offers a much clearer view of the new series. Everyone from Jeb Bush to Elon Musk and Amy Schumer will fill out the ranks, with musical guests on deck as well.
