It's another battle of celebrity offspring versus parental authority that Hollywood seems to be so very fond of -- and Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, have unfortunately become the latest "victims" of this Hollywood wrath.

It looks as though Katy Perry and John Mayer are still very much on! The on-again, off-again couple were most recently spotted together at Perry’s birthday bash at The Magic Castle in Los Angeles, and leave it to Perry to get into the Halloween spirt and require her guests to wear costumes. Sounds like her public persona might be mixing slightly with her personal life.

Why so serious? John Mayer and Katy Perry looked pretty sad leaving Mayer’s 35th birthday dinner at Freeman’s in NYC last night (Oct. 16). Is the thought of aging setting in? Was the clam dip bad?

Swift dated Gyllenhaal very briefly (not to mention publicly) at the end of 2010, but he apparently left a mark on her heart.

If Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy really do elope, or if they eventually settle down for a more traditional wedding, Swift won’t have to wonder whether she has the Kennedy family’s approval. One prominent member said that the family already adores the superstar singer.

Oh yeaaaa! We forgot Christina Aguilera was dating that guy Matt Rutler. The girl has been so busy posting sneak peeks of her new album and video and promoting the upcoming season of ‘The Voice,’ that we didn’t even realize she was still dating her boytoy.

As we reported last week, Carly Rae Jepsen was recently spotted out and about with boyfriend and fellow musician Matthew Koma. Well, turns out that’s not the man who inspired her mega hit ‘Call Me Maybe.’ Jepsen dumped the ‘CMM’ boyfriend because she got too busy. Say what?! Someone’s treading into some dangerous Taylor Swift territory here.
