Governor Mark Gordon has ordered flags to be flown at half staff, following a proclamation by President Joe Biden on the death of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.

In an announcement on social media Monday, the family said Powell had been fully vaccinated.

While remembering those African-Americans who paved the way, there are still so many people who have made history in the past century.
