Some services may be limited but overall you can enjoy any federal park during the shutdown.

“You can sum up the first ten weeks of the Republican-led Senate in three words: Fast, forceful, and effective. We aren’t wasting time. We are just getting started" said Sen. John Barrasso on Tuesday.

The bill, an updated version of the bipartisan Prevent Government Shutdowns Act, was introduced Wednesday.

Families who have been impacted by the shutdown may be eligible for Free or Reduced-Price meals for their students.
