Christmas is a time for miracles. This was true last year when a man named John Miracle lived up to his namesake by donating $45,000 to Mimi's House. It's true this year, as well, because an anonymous donor has donated $50,000 to the Wyoming Food for Thought Project.
For many, these are perilous times where having enough to eat every day is a legitimate concern. Fortunately, there are a lot of options in Casper to get the food help you need or help provide if you have plenty.
Just leave the non-perishable foods by your mailbox. Last year, the letter carriers collected 28,500 pounds of food, and it all stays in the community.
Join the fight against hunger and raise funds along with the Wyoming food bank of the Rockies. Take part in, " Cruzin' Against Hunger," charity poker run and family event, Saturday, September 27th.
Just got word that Aspen Ridge Dental and CK Mechanical are donating their annual food drives to our Birds & Bucks - and our friends at Wyoming Medical Center donated 152 turkeys. That puts us over 700 turkeys. Tell all these people thanks next time you do business with them for helping Casper families in need.

Just shy of $7,000 and just over 430 turkeys in 12 hours - that'll go a long way towards feeding Casper families. Got calls today from people who wanted to help, but couldn't get by Albertson's yesterday - reminder that you can drop off cash (not turkeys) a
