The Wyoming Highway Patrol says speed and driver fatigue may be to blame for a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 80 that left one person dead and another injured.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol is reminding folks to drive sober after a Cheyenne man was reportedly caught driving nearly 70 mph over the speed limit while drunk.
"Monday night, a WHP Trooper stopped a speeding van on I-80 east of Evanston, Wyoming," the WHP wrote in a Facebook post. "The Trooper's radar clocked the motorist at 110 mph."
The Wyoming Highway Patrol recently announced that they had pulled over a semi truck for for exceeding the posted speed limit by over 20 miles an hour in an area that was known to be extremely slick and dangerous.
A Wyoming Department of Transportation snowplow driver was injured Sunday morning when they were hit by a semi on Interstate 80, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
