It was a blistering cold night in Casper on Thursday. But the cold and the wind did not stop a group of Wyoming Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders from gathering to witness Lance Corporal Jerrod L. Warden come home.
"I think it's just really cool that we can lay wreaths and honor all of our veterans that have served in all kinds of wars," Herbst stated. "And also, since they graduated from here, it's special to the school."
It was announced at the Natrona County School Board's Trustees Meeting on Tuesday that an anonymous donor has pledged to donate $25,000 to both Kelly Walsh and Natrona County High School for "mental health services."
This local theatre extravaganza will hold performances on November 12 and 13. The combined theater group will perform at Natrona County High School on November 12 and Kelly Walsh High School on November 13. Both shows begin at 7pm.
"I've been teaching in our school district for 15 years and about five years ago, I had this epiphany that the greatest resource [Wyoming is] exporting is not oil or coal or natural gas; it's actually our youth."
