Extreme winds have been hampering Wyoming motorists for the first half of this week, but there is good news for those traveling today.

A tornado has touched down in the southeast region of Wyoming Thursday afternoon. The tornado was spotted west of Yoder, WY - about 13 miles southwest of Torrington.

By far, the heaviest snow will fall in the Snowy and Sierra Madre Ranges, where 1-2 feet of snow may fall.
