"What is false is 'the rumor,' we have sold,'" Jim Kanelos said. "It is false that we have had any offer to date. It is false that we have been purchased."
From January 22 through January 28, countless bars, restaurants, and coffee shops across Casper are partnering to offer patrons a chance to save some money and spread some pride throughout the community.
For 25 years, Jim and Karen Kanelos have poured their blood, sweat, and tears into the restaurant and now, after more than two decades, they are retiring and selling the restaurant and bar.
One Casper resident, who will remain unnamed, reached out on Casper Classifieds asking if there were any food banks or food pantries open. The response he received spoke directly to the heart of Casper.
"The night you've been waiting for," the grocery store wrote on their social media page. "Join us at Grant Street, where we'll have only one thing on the menu: our fried Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with Dill Pickle Coleslaw and Kettle Chips."
