The application period for Shop with a Cop is open in the Casper Area

On Saturday, 30 to 40 cops from various agencies around Natrona County helped kids buy things at Walmart at the annual Shop with a Cop event.

The shop with a cop program is back for the 2022 holiday season

"This isn't about making us feel good," Ladd stated. "But it does, ya know? To be able to make that child feel special and to feel like they're taken care of, but hopefully also to communicate to the parent or guardian that there's an entire community here that really, truly, cares about them; it does mean a lot to us."

This year, Jennie Gordon is partnering with Natrona County Law Enforcement as part of the First Lady’s Wyoming Hunger Initiative. With this partnership, not only will these children receive presents – they will also each receive a food basket as well.
