Wyoming isn't known for tornadoes, but we do have them and this video shows just how terrifying they can be.

We do see the occasional tornado in Wyoming, but very few of us will see one like a famous storm chaser who just shared video from inside a twister that hit Wyoming many years ago.

We had some crazy storms cross Wyoming on Tuesday. One very famous storm chaser has just dropped video from one of the intense storms he was following near Chugwater.

Tornadoes are always a scary sight, even more so when you see a funnel directly over your head.

Summer storms spurred a tornado in NE Colorado Wednesday evening.

It's hard to imagine with our near 90 degree temps around Casper the past few days, but some parts east of Laramie got almost a foot of snow as a new trucker video shows.

The thunderstorm a few weeks ago that hit Douglas may have also spawned a tornado. There's new video that shows a possible funnel touch down, but it could be something else.

Last year, a large tornado near Chugwater, Wyoming destroyed a storm chaser's drone. He has just now found that drone and recovered super close-up video that it captured of that twister.

Just before 3:20 p.m., a storm chaser reported seeing the tornado eight miles east of Guernsey.

The storm continued to track toward Midwest and Edgerton.

I think we can all agree that us Wyoming people have a unique way of responding to things. That definitely includes this cowboy who got a little too excited about seeing a tornado in front of his home. Make that WAY too excited about the twister he sees.

We have had a crazy summer this year as far as weather goes, from tornados to crazy lightning storms over the cowboy state. Thankfully we never had anything like this happen during our fun summer storms.
