Lemonade Day is a program to teach youth financial literacy.

In the end, It was Stand #14, from creator Airean Strong, that won the contest. His patriotic-themed stand embodied everything Lemonade Day stands for.

On Wednesday, Hilltop National Bank hosted the Lemonade Day Kickoff and it was certainly a sign of things to come, as more than 300 kiddos turned out to register, to pick up their instructions and, of course, to meet Lemmy the Lemon.

It was an embarrassment of riches in Casper on Saturday; especially for those who love pork and Patron, as Frank's Butcher Shop presented the Booze and Bacon Festival at the Ford Wyoming Center.

After more than 30 years on the air, Townsquare Media’s Donovan Short is putting the microphone back on its stand and is retiring from the world of radio broadcasting.

It was Lemonade Day in Casper and, as always, the community did not disappoint. Dozens and dozens of children began their careers in entrepreneurship on this day, and the results were inspiring.

Rocky Mountain Power in Casper updated their social media page on Friday, letting customers know that after a mid-morning outage, which affected nearly 7,523 customers (including K2 and its sister radio stations), power has now been restored.

“As a parent, it means a lot,” she said with tears in her eyes. “You struggle to try and give your kids everything and then, when you can’t give them something on Christmas, it breaks your heart. To be able to have an opportunity to get that, and then you don’t have to feel like a bad parent, it’s amazing. It’s a great feeling.”

The Casper Events Center may open for parking, but that remains to be seen.

A ton and a half of food plus a big crowd of volunteers keeps school kids from going hungry over Spring Break.

The March 16th food drive helps provide local kids some 22,500 and snacks meals over the nine-day Spring Break.

Organizers are collecting toiletries, hats, scarves, blankets, and more to give out at the event.
