Taylor Swift Plays Fetch With Meredith Her Cat

Taylor Swift loves her cat — a lot. The country star often shares tidbits about her feline friend, Meredith, most recently posting a video of her playing “fetch.”

“These days if I’m not in the studio, I’m most likely doing this. So…,” Swift wrote on her Facebook page with a link to the video clip. With over 11,000 likes, it’s clear that her fans approve.

The video shows Tay in a floral print dress, asking her kitty if she wants to play. “Wanna play fetch? K,” she says, before tossing a treat (or maybe just cat food) across the room. Meredith sprints to the goodie and gobbles it up.

Although the cat failed to return the item like a dog would, Swift was pleased. “Good girl,” she adds. “Well done. Proud of you.” It looks like T-Swizzle is even rewriting the script on how to play fetch.

Meredith joined Swift’s family in November 2011. The singer introduced her adorable kitten to the world via Twitter. “Hanging out with my new roommate, Meredith,” she wrote with a photo of her new pet. Since then, Swift has posted dozens of pics and videos of her cat, who was named after the character Meredith Grey in ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’
