10 Things Casper Men Need to Do to Improve Themselves

Let's face it. As men in Casper, we can do better or so I've been told. With that in mind, I've come up with 10 things Casper guys can do to improve themselves.

I thought it would be funny to come up with 5 Things Casper Women Could Do Better. "Thought" is the key word. My morning counterpart, Prairie Wife, helped me see the error of my ways. That's why I've been instructed (by her) to double down and address the deficiency in us guys. Here goes.

10. Close the door when you go to the bathroom

I won't go into details because I don't want to ruin your breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack with specifics, but this man habit really needs to stop. Now.

9. Always open the door for ladies

Chivalry is not dead. Most males in Casper seem to do this already and that's a good thing. Opening doors for ladies should always be a thing.

8. Covert spitting

We do this all the time. It's part of man DNA to need to eject saliva from our mouths. But, when a lady is present, make sure your spit is done outside of her line of sight. No lady wants to see that.

7. Hats off in stores

It used to be common knowledge that it was rude to not remove your hat when you walked into a building (especially church). Now, we seem to have slacked off in this etiquette. If you're wondering what I'm talking about, Quora has a long answer as to why hats on in buildings should never happen.

6. Lid down when done in bathroom

Yes, this is a followup to #10, but is still a separate thing that needs to be addressed. If you have a lady (or ladies) in your home, put the toilet seat down when your mission is complete. She will thank you later.

5. Pay attention when your lady is speaking to you

Sure, the man brain is always thinking about something. But, when the female in your life looks you in the eye and says something, make mental notes of the important points. You will be quizzed later. I guarantee it.

4. Give up place in line at checkout at stores to women

You're in a hurry. We all are. But, if you're in the checkout at the store and there's a lady that is behind you, consider letting her move ahead of you. If she has a child or children with her, even more so. You will be a hero to at least one person for doing this.

3. Before dating a woman, ask her dad first

This may sound very old-fashioned, but that's not always a bad thing. I can almost guarantee that you will win instant family favor when you show respect to a woman's dad and consult him before asking his daughter out. Try it sometime.

2. When in doubt, she's right

I know you may think the facts are on your side, but if the lady in your life believes otherwise, she's right. Accept this fact and life will be so much easier for you. Trust me.
