I'm Melissa Awesome, I'm a life long Chicago Cubs fan (Go Cubbies!), and I'm a huge music lover. Growing up I was always getting in trouble in school for being a "social butterfly" so I guess a career in radio is right up my alley! I started interning for our sister station 103GBF back in '08 and fell in love with radio.

My name is Shawn Udell Jackson, affectionately known by most as DJ Nyke (pronounced 'Nike', like the shoe). I was born in Casper, but moved a lot in my younger years. After 4 years active duty and 4 reserve in the U.S. Marine Corps, I decided to move back to my birthplace after being gone almost 20 years. I picked up DJ-ing during my tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan. It was there I got stuck with the moniker of DJ Nyke, mainly because of my affinity for the shoe brand and the fact that a lot of the locals had a difficult time accenting my first name correctly

Hometown: Hmmm... I'm an Airforce brat so this is tough! I was born at Hill AFB in Utah and have lived in a bunch of places, but Haughton, LA is where I grew up from 6 - 16 and so, I'm claiming Haughton;)
Birthday: August 26th I'm a Virgo... tortured soul and a perfectionist... Nice, huh?
Marital Status: I married my man in 2007;) He wouldn't put up with my sh!t so I knew he was a keeper.
Kids: A step child is plenty for me! Plus, I have my horses;)
