Ladies, the wait is over! The 50 Shades of Grey movie is available on all video formats and downloads now (May 8th, 2015). Although the movie critics gave it mixed reviews, it is still holding the #3 spot on the highest grossing films of 2015 thus far (only Furious 7 and Avengers: Age of Ultron respectively are higher).

So let's say you've already seen the theatrical release and were not impressed, well here are the special features included on the Blu-ray version that may change your mind:

  • Fifty Shades of Grey Unrated and Theatrical versions
  • The World of Fifty Shades of Grey: Discover the artistry involved in creating everything Fifty Shades, including in-depth profiles of stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, and their characters, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
  • E.L. James & Fifty Shades: An interview with the creator of Fifty Shades, discussing the novel and the experience making the film.
  • Fifty Shades: The Pleasure of Pain: A chat with the BDSM consultant and a show-and-tell with property master.
  • 360° set tours of Christian and Ana's apartments, as well as the Red Room
  • Music videos from Skylar Grey, The Weeknd, and Ellie Goulding
  • Behind the Scenes of The Weeknd's "Earned It" music video

I must say, I am curious to see the director's cut. I personally didn't think the theatrical version was bad (I didn't think it was great either), but nine times out of 10, the director's cut is way better. I'm thinking my curiosity is going to get the better of me though. I just have to know what things were taken out of the movie for ratings sake.
