Adam Lambert fans are going to have to exercise a little patience, as the singer has to delay his new album ‘Trespassing.’ In a chat with Z100, the ‘Better Than I Know Myself’ singer revealed that the new release date is going to be sometime in “Mapril.” That portmanteau word means it’ll drop in either May or April, with no confirmed date scheduled as of right now.

Console yourselves with this thought, Glambert fans: If it’s good, it’ll be worth waiting for.

“Mapril syrup for your springtime playlist,” Lambert told the station about the possible release date, which he could not confirm. “I know it’s hard, but it’s not finished. It needs to be finished. There are new songs we are doing last minute that are really good. Dr. Luke songs, so they are really good and very radio. It’s all for the best, even though it’s a tough thing to ask to wait. I want the album to be amaze-balls.”

“Amaze-balls” is a good goal to have. Indeed.

Lambert also spoke to Arjan Writes, confirming that he has a new collaborator on the album, as well. Lambert will team up with crooner Bruno Mars. “That’s a yes! He will be on the record,” Lambert revealed when asked about working with the ‘Grenade’ singer-songwriter.

Now that’s what we call “amaze-balls” and if we have to wait a little longer in order to get a Lambert-Mars collabo and more songs, then so be it.
