Police Investigate Double Shooting

Casper police are investigating what turned out to be two shootings Saturday.

At around 5pm, a woman was apparently shot at a residence in the 900 block of Cedar Street.

Her wounds were not serious and she was taken to Wyoming Medical Center.

She was able to tell officers the name of the suspect, and his address, on the 1100 block of Wolcott.

When police arrived, they confronted him in the street and he raised a gun to his head and shot himself.

He was taken to the Medical Center and was still alive when he was admitted. he later died on Sunday.

Casper Police Chief Jim Wetzel told K2 Radio News that no other information, including names of the people involved, are being released at this time.
