This year's Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) concert acts will be performing on the largest stage in CFD history.

CFD will be rolling out a $1.1 million custom built stage.

"We had a local contractor build our stage on site," said CFD Contract Acts Chairman Scott Fleming. "Reiman was our general contractor and C.H. Yarber was the production company."

Fleming says the massive 50 by 80 foot, permanent roof stage will allow them to accommodate any touring band that wants to play at the Daddy of 'em All.

"Cheyenne Frontier Days tries to bring in the top acts that are out there every single year," said Fleming. "Now that they're doing bigger production shows, we just felt that we needed to be able to accommodate that."

The new stage will replace the 40 by 60 foot stage that CFD has been using since 1988.
