Kate Upton + Maksim Chmerkovskiy of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Are Totally an Item Now [PHOTOS]

After a few months of speculation, Kate Upton and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were finally snapped holding hands in public, pretty much giving a silent confirmation of their couplehood.

Sources close to the couple whispered that a romance was brewing back in June, but reports were mixed as to what was actually up. One source told Us Weekly in the summer, "They were set up through friends. They just started dating." Another source told the same tab that they were just friends.

Still, the pair were affectionate at Upton's birthday dinner on June 10, with spies noting that they held hands at the table, adding, "They were very canoodly. It was a very intimate meal."

The 21-year-old supermodel and 33-year-old 'Dancing With the Stars' pro were finally caught on a stroll in New York City's West Village hand-in-hand.

It's the first time Upton has been caught with a man. The Sports Illustrated stunner was previously rumored to be dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez and Detroit Lions player Justin Verlander, but none of those stories were confirmed. Chmerkovskiy was previously engaged to fellow 'DWTS' pro Karina Smirnoff as well as linked to yet another pro, Peta Murgatroyd.
