If you've always wanted to toast Homer Simpson with a honest-to-goodness Duff beer, you're about to get your wish.  Fox is working on bringing the brew to shelves near you.

According to thewrap.com, the network is finally giving into pressure and marketing Duff with a trial run starting this month in Chile, then an expansion into the rest of South America by the end of the summer. A Fox spokesman tells the paper, "It’s got a very good balance of flavor and refreshment to it. It’s fairly deep golden in color. It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it.”

Fox sued an Australian brewery for using the Duff name back in the '90s, saying that linking real beer to The Simpsons would be "detrimental to children."

Perfect gift for that Simpson's fan friend. I know one I'll be trying to get it for.
