FCC Announces Ban on Annoyingly Loud TV Commercials [VIDEO]
At some point, we’ve all been annoyed by TV commercials that run at an earsplitting volume. Fortunately, such ads will soon become a thing of the past thanks to the Federal Communications Commission. Finally, no more diving for the remote when ‘Two Broke Girls’ goes to commercial.
A year from now, a FCC regulation will go into effect stipulating that commercials must be at the same volume as the programs they accompany. Now if only they could put a ban on ads where a guy does something dumb and his loving, reasonable wife rolls her eyes. Oh, wait, that’s every ad.
