Getting a Six-Year-Old Make-up

It was my friends little girls 6th Birthday over the weekend and I was a little skeptical about getting her a little make-up kit for kids. 

After polling some parents I found out that a lot of 6-year-old's are into that and it wasn't inappropriate at all. I had asked her mom who was fine with it...until it was time to go and she said "she wasn't ready yet and had to put her make-up on". I may have just got myself in trouble!

For now she is just enjoying some lip gloss and light eye-shadow. I'm sure we will have a night of makeovers with me looking like a clown but I am all for it.

Kids are fun and I am glad I can live vicariously through people who have them!
