Now, before you get start freaking out, don't worry - Thin Mints and Samoas aren't going anywhere.

Snack fans united in shock and disbelief on Tuesday after The Wall Street Journal reported that the Girl Scouts would be discontinuing a few varieties of their popular cookies. The economy hasn’t been kind to the cookie business over the past couple of years, organization reps explained to the paper, and a few flavors had to go.

The Scouts say they’re only only discontinuing unpopular cookies, leaving alone Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Samoas, Tagalongs, and, of course, the ever-classic Thin Mints. The canceled varieties include Thank U Berry Munch and Dulce de Leche, among others. “We’re all seeking a little more simplicity,” Amanda Hamaker, the manager of national product sales for the Girl Scouts, told WSJ.

To further combat financial woes, the organization will also raise some prices and include fewer cookies per package.
