In November of 2022, Casper was front and center of the the 2022 Honest Amish National Beard and Moustache Championships. Men, and women, from all over the U.S. rolled into Casper to compete in many different categories to hope to be crowned champion.

For one bearded fella from Casper, Wyoming, that weekend put him in the national ranks of beards.

Cory Stovall, better to many as Big Grizz, is a fishing/hunting guide, flag man at Casper Speedway, racing reporter on My Country 95.5 and a National Champion beard grower.

Last year he won the championship for having the best full natural 6-12 inch beard out of everyone in the country, according to the judges. It seems the judges were correct, because Big Grizz, just defended his crown of having the best full natural 6-12 inch beard again.

The 2023 Honest Amish National Beard and Moustache National Championships were held where the weather was a bit warmer and more sand to get into those beards, Daytona Beach, Florida. Big Grizz packed up his beard oil, cowboy hat and hopped on a plane to sunny Florida to battle it out with other bearded brethren. When it was all said and done, Big Grizz, is bringing that championship crown back to the great state of Wyoming.

Not only did he win the championship trophy, he was also part of a Guinness Book of World Record breaking 195 Feet of connected beards.
