Vacation season is upon us, and you're already daydreaming about hitting the beach or taking the family to visit the mouse and his friends in California or Florida, it could be your first trip to the Big Apple and shows on Broadway, or you're going to cross a couple of baseball stadiums off your list.

Whatever your trip is, you're stoked!

What you're NOT stoked about is having to drive to Denver, Rapid City, or Billings to get on a plane. With the cost of gas, parking, and maybe an extra hotel night, your "fun money" has taken a hit.

The Casper/ Natrona County International Airport is right here in our backyard, with multiple flights per day to and from Denver. Want to talk about convenience? A 10-minute drive, cheap parking, and a friendly staff make it an even more pleasant experience.

There are lots of good things happening at CNCIA right now. Like, construction to improve parking, you can grab the kids a book before you board, and sip on a coffee while you wait for your plane.

As if that wasn't enough, CNCIA is getting an eighth daily United flight from Casper to Denver starting May 21, 2026. The addition to the flight schedule gives travelers another opportunity to fly from Casper rather than drive to another airport. Airport Director Glenn Januska knows how impactful this will be for travelers.

Adding an extra flight to our schedule shows that United has noticed our continually high passenger numbers. Our community has been choosing to fly locally, and this is one of the benefits of that choice.

Here's what the first day flight schedule will be departing from Casper.

Local Pilots Give Wyoming Kids A Free Flight

Does your kid want to be a pilot?

There is no way of knowing unless they get a chance to get in an airplane and get up there.

Thanks to a Wyoming chapter of EAA, (Experimental Aircraft Association), kids in Wheatland Wyoming got that chance this past weekend.

Local pilots offered free rides to all kids, breakfast included.

The hope is that maybe some of these kids will get that urge to want to fly and pursue a career as a pilot.

America needs more pilots.
