Ian Munsick Makes History At Cheyenne Frontier Days
Looking back over the years of entertainment at Cheyenne Frontier Days, Wyoming has been well-represented.
Names you'll recognize are Chris, Ned, Chancey, and Ian: all great performers and great Wyomingites.
Chris LeDoux and Chancey Williams are the only two who have not only performed at CFD, but they've also participated in the rodeo portion of the event. Chancey will be back this year too, opening for Brooks & Dunn on Wednesday, July 23.
Chris LeDoux and Ned LeDoux are family members from Wyoming who have both performed music at CFD.
In 2025, there will be a first for a Wyomingite at CFD.
Even though Chris LeDoux headlined CFD a handful of times, he wasn't born in Wyoming. This year, Ian Munsick will be the first Wyoming native to headline a night at the Daddy of 'em All.
On Friday night, July 18, Ian will bring his Eagle Feather tour to the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days. Country legend Travis Tritt will also be performing to kick off this year's CFD.
Ian Munsick made his mark in country music with his album White Buffalo. Following his roots-pop debut, Coyote Cry, the Warner Music Nashville artist has racked up nearly 1 billion global streams, sold over 100,000 headlining tickets in 2024, and joined country stars Lainey Wilson and Morgan Wallen on select tour dates. Recognized as an “Artist to Watch” by Spotify, CMT, and others, he has earned multiple RIAA Gold certifications and topped SiriusXM’s The Highway with his standout duet “Long Live Cowgirls.”
Not only will Ian be headlining the event, but he's also introducing Wyoming to an interesting line of Pork Rinds.
He's partnering with Southern Recipe Small Batch. Usually, when you hear small batch, you think whiskey. This 'Small Batch' is a division of Southern Recipe pork rinds that have unique flavoring.
