Some beautiful Wyoming ranches have come up for sale in 2025.

This one is called Crazy Woman Ranch, near Buffalo.

This ranch can be yours for just $8,430,000.

The name "Crazy Woman" for a creek and canyon in Wyoming comes from two main legends about women who went insane after experiencing tragedy.

One story involves a woman who witnessed her husband and children being killed, driving her mad.

The other tells of a Native American woman who survived an attack on her village but was driven insane by the trauma.

The video below shows the ranch and gives details on how you can own it.

The Little North Fork of Crazy Woman Ranch is a property rich in history from the early Native Americans, Bozeman Trail settlers, and Range War cattle barons.

It consists of 834± acres of highly sought-after views and quality grazing land at the foothills of the Big Horn Mountains.

The unique buildings include rehabilitated, historic structures from the late 1800s, including a main home, a guest house, and an outbuilding for equipment storage and building maintenance.

Multiple bodies of water throughout the property and the Little North Fork Crazy Woman Creek contain multiple species of trout. Elk, white-tailed deer, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope are seen daily on this private canyon ranch.

Opportunities to pursue outdoor recreation, such as elk and whitetail hunting, in a setting as exclusive as this ranch are rare.

Impressive landscaping, live water, and well-maintained structures and homes are situated just 15 minutes from the town of Buffalo, where all major or minor conveniences can be purchased.

A combination of strong ownership, a conservation easement, year-round private road access, and diverse wildlife has made this a well-known and highly sought-after area of Johnson County.
