According to a fatality crash summary, Jose Manuel Aldaz was driving a Subaru Impreza westbound in the eastbound lanes when he collided head-on with a Freightliner truck-tractor combination unit.

The trucker was not injured in the crash, but Aldaz didn't survive.

The summary says the interstate was wet and the weather was clear at the time of the crash, but it does not list any possible contributing factors.

Calls to the WHP seeking more information were not immediately returned.

This is the second wrong-way driver to be killed in a collision with a semi on I-80 in Wyoming this year.
