Westbound I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne is now open to all traffic.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A crash involving hazardous materials has forced the closure of Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Laramie, the Wyoming Department of Transportation says.

As of 10:00 a.m., WYDOT did not have an estimate as to when the roughly 100-mile stretch might reopen.

The westbound lanes between Laramie and Cheyenne have also been closed due to rolling closure.

Drivers are encouraged to call 511 or visit wyoroad.info for the latest road conditions and closures.
