The wind has finally taken a break across the state.  It will be a bit on the breezy side in the central and southern portions of the state later today, but it will not be nearly as windy as it has been.  In fact, the weather will be fairly settled today and Wednesday.  Daytime highs in Casper today and Wednesday will range from the mid 30s to the lower 40s.  The far northwest corner of the state could see a few light snow showers, especially in the mountains, otherwise it will be dry.

The next best chance for snow showers comes in Thursday along a passing cold front.  Light scattered snow showers will spread from northwest to southeast during the day.  It will depend upon the exact track of this front and area of low pressure developing to the south as to who will see the best chance of snow.  So far it looks like the southeast corner will be in best position for at least some accumulating snow.  At this time

only light snow and light accumulations are expected for Casper and Casper Mountain.  Thursday will be cooler as well.
