Lady Gaga Participates in Chicago Polar Plunge 2015 [PHOTOS]
Winter temperatures didn't stop Lady Gaga from taking part in Chicago Polar Plunge 2015 and jumping into Lake Michigan on Sunday (March 1).
Dressed in an oversized t-shirt and some workout leggings, this could possibly be one of the most casual looks we've seen from the "Born This Way" singer. With her soon-to-be hubby Taylor Kinney by her side, she joined other celebrities likes Vince Vaughn as well as four of Taylor's Chicago Fire co-stars -- David Eigenberg, Randy Flagler, Jon Seda and Brian Geraghty. But they weren't doing this for the thrill of turning into human icicles, the event brings thousands every year to the lake to spread awareness and raise money for the Special Olympics.
Not only did Gaga play in the water, she also took some time to meet with fans who attended the event. Despite being drenched, she looked happy to do it, especially since she managed to get a sweet piggyback ride on the beach from her fiance. The only issue she ran into had to do with one important accessory."[M]y weave froze!! Taylor gave me his hat I thought my wig was gonna freeze into and become one with the lake," she captioned a photo on Instagram.
Aside from the photos we have gathered for you above, Gaga shared a selfie on the photo-sharing app, which you can see below.
While we thought her upcoming role in American Horror Story will be scary, leaping into the frigid waters of Lake Michigan may be just as terrifying.
