Lusk Detour is Open

The Wyoming Department of Transportation, in conjunction with the Town of Lusk, has opened a detour through the town for those traveling U.S. 85.

For those traveling north, the detour begins at the intersection of West Griffith Boulevard. Turn left and follow Griffith across the railroad tracks to North Diamond and West Daley Streets.

For those traveling south, the detour begins at West Daley Street. Turn right and follow the detour back to Main Street (U.S. 85).

Please be aware that this detour crosses the Union Pacific Railroad and frequent trains passing may cause delays.

The truck route continues to be WYO 270 at Manville and Lance Creek. All highways in the Lusk area are open.
