I really was a genuinely happy kid growing up, I think I was just having an off day...It was a chilly November day in the year nineteen-hundred and ninety-five when my Aunt Jeanine, a glistening in her white dress decided to begin sharing her life with the love of her life in holy matrimony. Ha just kidding, this isn't some Emily Dickinson poem...

See I'm usually very happy, this was just last week when I was thrift store shopping for a wedding gown for my Halloween costume, however on the day of my Aunt Neens wedding it was a totally different situation!

I have a really close family, so when my Aunt Neen got married of course she had her favorite niece as her flower girl. As you know, the flower girl is an essential part to any wedding, and sometimes they can be divas when their demands aren't met. When I was a kid, I was a pretty happy, and easy going kid, but apparently the ONE time I was supposed to just smile, and hold some flowers, I was flower girlzilla.

I was only 5 at the time so I don't remember too much from this day, but I do remember the little lacey poof deal happening on my shoulders was itching the crap out of me and I was not a happy camper. I do remember my mom and aunt shoving toilet paper in my dress to stop the itching, but it didn't help much so I just decided to be a grump the whole day.

Luckily though my aunt is totally awesome and found the pictures pretty hilarious, but before the pictures, I would just like to make a public apology to my Aunt Neen. I'm so sorry I ruined every wedding photo that you had taken that day because I was grumpy, but you have no idea how itchy those sleeves really were...haha. On your special day that you are allowed to be a "bridezilla" I stole your thunder, so if the day ever comes that I walk down the aisle, consider this your "auntzilla" free pass!
