Motorcyclist Loses Leg in Accident [Updated]
A motorcyclist lost his right leg when his bike collided with a car in Cheyenne on Wednesday.
The accident occurred shortly before 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Lincolnway and Campbell Avenue.
Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Kevin Malatesta says 56-year-old Tim Donley was headed eastbound on East Lincolnway when his Harley collided with a car driven northbound on Campbell by 86-year-old Patricia Haffeman.
"As a result of the collision the motorcycle rider was knocked to the ground and it appears that his leg was amputated as a result of the crash," said Malatesta.
A portion of East Lincolnway was closed for over two hours while officers conducted their investigation. No charges have yet been made to either driver.

"As a result of the collision the motorcycle rider was knocked to the ground and it appears that his leg was amputated as a result of the crash," said Malatesta.
A portion of East Lincolnway was closed for over two hours due to the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
