Just over a month into the school year, planning for next year is already underway. The Natrona County School District is in the beginning process of developing a new series of calendars for the coming years.  Regular review and adoption of the calendar is part of NCSD's commitment to continuous improvement. To help craft a calendar that takes into consideration the thoughts and opinions of interested stakeholders, the District is offering a quick and easy survey for parents, students, NCSD staff, and community members to take. The survey also features a section to provide feedback that may not be addressed in the survey questions. Beginning Oct. 1 through Oct. 31, 2013, those interested can take the survey on NCSD's website, www.natronaschools.org. It has also been emailed to those households who have provided email addresses in their Infinite Campus profile. Should someone prefer not to take a survey, feedback on the calendar will also be accepted by emailing ncsd_ideas@natronaschools.org.

The feedback will be used to help guide planning for a school calendar for the next several years. All of the input will be gathered from the surveys and will be used to create several calendar options. The input and  calendar options will be submitted to the Board of Trustees for review and consideration during the regular Board Meeting on Nov. 11, 2013. Trustees will then study the input and calendar options and adopt the new series of calendars during its regular Board Meeting on Nov. 25, 2013.

For more information on the survey, please contact Kelly Eastes, Chief Public Relations Officer, NCSD, (307) 253-5370.
