Nickelodeon Star “Fred” Comes Out As Gay

It has been an exciting last few days for the gay and lesbian community. Last week, professional wrestler Darren Young came out to TMZ, making him the first WWE Superstar to disclose this while still active duty with the company. And now, just a few days later, YouTube sensation and Nickelodeon TV star, Lucas Cruikshank, best known for his Fred character has also admitted to being gay.

Although not really a shock to most, it is surprising that he did actually make it known to the public worldwide. He admitted that the majority of his family and friends knew anyway. With more and more athletes, actors & musicians coming out lately, maybe it is now becoming more socially acceptable in America.
