No Burping Allowed

A young man who lives in New Mexico was handcuffed and hauled off after he allegedly interrupted his gym class with a gas leak -- from his mouth.

The boy, who was not identified due to his age, caused his P.E. teacher to belly-ache by "burping audibly" during class -- an offense that apparently marked him as a danger to society. His parents have now filed a lawsuit against the Albuquerque school system saying that the boy's rights were violated.

A lawyer for the family says, "Criminalizing the burping of a 13-year-old boy serves no governmental purpose."
