Power Service Lays Off 50 Employees

Power Service in Mills has laid off about 50 employees, sources have told K2 Radio.

Power Service is a fabricator and distributor of oil and gas field equipment, according to its website.

The job losses here are among thousands as a result of the downturn in the energy industry.

A representative of the company's human resources department did not return repeated calls for comment.
