It has been said that an apple a day keeps the doctor away. That probably hasn't been said in Wyoming as we just came out as one of the worst states when it comes to eating fruit.

Consumer Protect just shared a new study about the most obese states in America. If you look inside of that, you'll notice there's also a breakdown of states that eat less than one fruit a day. Yep, Wyoming is mighty high on that list.

According to their graphic, 37.7% of Wyomingites eat less than one fruit per day. Science. Here are a few of my theories why we rarely eat fruit here:

  • You can't put steak sauce on a banana
  • You can't put steak sauce on an apple
  • You can't put steak sauce on an orange

I think you get the idea. The overall good news is Wyoming is way down the list of most obese states coming in at #37. That's because steak should be it's own food group.

Check out the full study as there are some interesting health things about how Wyoming ranks when it comes to food and exercise.
