The Wyoming Legislature is slated to meet in a budget session on February 12 in Cheyenne.

The county government has scheduled the offices to reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

These dumb ideas are better than what our government is telling us.

The LINK transit system will begin at 10 a.m.

heriff's deputies will still be answering calls for service.

The limited City Hall re-opening in August showed that there could be a return to regular hours and still keep people safe.

The next step in Gordon's plan calls for state agency directors to identify programs for elimination by July 1, likely resulting in state employees losing their jobs.

The cuts will continue through the end of June, which concludes the current budget year, and into the next two-year budget.

Both articles were expected to be approved in a largely party-line vote, setting up a trial in the U.S. Senate next month.

Wyoming will continue to fight for the industries which have historically contributed the greatest revenue and which are best positioned to buoy the state going forward.

Personally, ever since I got out of school I have not been keeping up to date with the changes in our local government. I know, shame on me. With that being said it turns out that not a lot has changed.
