James Spillman was issued two citations for operating the motorcycle while his license was suspended and for operating the motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating operator inexperience and inattentiveness as contributing factors in this crash.

The rider was seriously injured and taken to Wyoming Medical Center, but his condition is unknown.

The crash victims are German nationals.

While he was passing another northbound vehicle, the motorcycle left the highway to the west and crashed, throwing him from the motorcycle.

There was a collision and both riders were thrown from the motorcycle.
