Even though we were told, once upon a time, that Disney and Pixar had no plans for 'Toy Story 4,' it seems that those plans have changed. After a series of short films that kept us up to date with the adventures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear and friends, Disney CEO Bob Iger has just announced that we'll finally be getting a 'Toy Story 4' after all, and it has an official release date and everything.

2014 has been a long year. It's the first time since 2005 that we haven't had a Pixar movie and we're feeling a little withdrawal. The good news is that 2015 brings us two new Pixar movies, including 'Inside Out', the next film from Oscar-winning director Pete Docter ('Up'). While some were lucky enough to see the opening five minutes at a Pixar preview earlier this year, the first public release 'Inside Out' footage was made available today on the Disney Anywhere app. And, maybe it's the Pixar withdrawal speaking, but we're starting to get really excited.

Shortly after Pixar revealed the first footage, art designs and additional casting for 'The Good Dinosaur' at D23 Expo 2013, director Bob Peterson was pulled from his position. According to the studio, the film still needs more production time and has, therefore, been moved to a later release date in 2015 -- but that leaves next year without a feature.

Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta of Arizona spent two years making this masterpiece of stop motion animation. The least you could do is watch it.

In the tear-jerker animated film 'Up,' a home is lifted into the sky by a cluster of party balloons.  While it all looks great in Pixar's beautiful animated style, it doesn't seem like it would be something you could pull off in real life. But, in fact, cluster ballooning is a thing, and Jonathan Trappe may well be the world's leading cluster balloonist.

This is an open letter to the guys at Disney Pixar and specifically to the team behind the making of the movie 'Up'. I love what you do and my family and I have thoroughly enjoyed every film you have made. My personal favorite is 'The Incredibles' while my wife states 'Monsters Inc.' as her favorite.
