A statement from the Casper- Natrona County Health Department said that harmful cyanobacterial blooms (HCB's) pose a risk to humans, pets, and livestock.
“Unfortunately, it doesn’t take much contamination to create a messy problem so it’s important to prevent germs from getting into pools and lakes as much as possible,” said WDH Epidemiologist Courtney Tillman.

The Wyoming Department of Health reported 41 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 45,471. No new cases were reported for Natrona County, leaving the current number of active cases in Natrona County at 47.
The Wyoming Department of Health has confirmed 15 more deaths, due to COVID-related issues, bringing the total number of COVID-related deaths in Wyoming to 662.
The Wyoming Department of Health reported 179 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the statewide total to 41,116. 18 new cases were reported for Natrona County, bringing the current number of active cases in Natrona County to 153.
