Taylor Swift celebrated America’s birthday with a special brood. The country star spent Fourth of July with Patrick Schwarzenegger and members of the Kennedy family on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was spotted with the famous family at Hyannis Port in Cape Cod, Mass., sailing and getting in some quality downtime on the holiday. The paparazzi snapped pics of Swift and Schwarzenegger laughing and having a great time, which, naturally, has sparked rumors of a romance. TMZ reports that the couple went for a stroll on the beach, but we’ll have to wait and see if there are really fireworks between the two.

It’s not entirely surprising to see Swift with the iconic family. She has been vocal about her interest in the clan, especially Ethel Kennedy, whom she met at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

“I had read up on Robert F. Kennedy and his wife, and I asked Rory if it would ever be possible for me to meet her mother,” Swift explained. “She said, ‘Here’s her number.’ Ethel was kind enough to have lunch and spend a few hours talking with me, and ever since then I’ve been so inspired by how full of life she is and the way she tells her story.’’

Swift has penned a song about the Kennedy family, but there’s no word on whether it will appear on her next album.
