On Dec. 31, an Australian tourist Erin Langworthy’s bungee cord snapped, sending her plummeting 365 feet into the crocodile-infested Zambesi River below. Does that qualify as a worst-case scenario or what?

Miraculously, Langworthy survived by swimming to safety despite a broken collarbone and the fact that her legs were tied together by the broken bungee cord.

Safari Par Excellence, the company which operates the bungee jump from Victoria Falls Bridge on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, describes the activity as “not for the faint-hearted” on their website. Yikes! No kidding.
