Wyoming Ranked the 5th Most “Redneck” State in America

Typically, when you think of rednecks, the deep south is the first area that comes to mind. However, according to a recent report from the website Roadsnacks.net, Wyoming is the fifth most "redneck" state in America.

The article ranked on all fifty states based on a variety of redneck stereotypes, including small towns, working class jobs, education, hunting and fishing, mobile home parks and even the number of Wal-Mart stores, per capita.

Mississippi ranked first in the "study", followed by New Mexico, Louisiana, Alabama and Wyoming. South Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia, Arkansas and Oklahoma rounded out the top ten.

The latest Roadsnacks article follows up on a September study which ranked the ten most redneck cities in Wyoming, including Saratoga, Mills, Evansville, Jackson, Pinedale, Cody, Greybull, Thermopolis, Rawlins and Douglas.
