Hi! Meet Zayn Malik. Zayn is a former member of One Direction, who left the group in March 2015 and is now pursuing a solo career. Since quitting, Zayn has had some unfavorable things to say about his experience in 1D and his former band mates.

Here are some now:

"...yeah, I didn’t buy the [new] album...The other boys’ taste was generally indie rock. It’s good music, but I don’t f— with it. That was never cool where I was from."

To Fader:

"There was never any room for me to experiment creatively in the band. If I would sing a hook or a verse slightly R&B, or slightly myself, it would always be recorded 50 times until there was a straight version that was pop, generic as f---."

"The truth is I haven’t spoken to any of the boys at all really, I spoke to Liam [Payne] a bit and that’s just the way it is."

Evidently, Zayn has had a bit of a change of heart, and told The Sunday Times that if push came to shove, he'd consider a reunion with One Direction.

"Who knows?...I don't know," he said. "If the time was right and that was the thing to do, then I would make that decision when it came around."

Still, Zayn's #realmusic is priority — Early yesterday (January 24), he announced new single "Pillow Talk" will be released on January 29. He's since told the New York Times it will feature insight into "dirty and raw" sex.

What do you make of Zayn's remarks? Could you see a One Direction reunion happening? Share your thoughts.
