Have you ever found yourself traversing on King Boulevard and realized you were speeding? If you answered yes, you would not be the only one.

King Boulevard is kind of a weird road that connects Poplar Street to West 13th Street. Yes, we know, eventually the two streets run perpendicular anyway, but King Blvd should technically be a short cut. Honestly it would be, IF the speed limit was 40 miles per hour, which unfortunately, it isn't.

There are a few businesses on King and bicyclist as well as pedestrians frequent it, especially in the warmer seasons, but I personally can NOT comprehend why the posted speed limit is 30 miles per hour.

After polling a few close friends and co-workers (that will remain nameless for their own safety), not a single person stated they actually did 30 MPH on that particular stretch of road.

Maybe there is a legal reason I'm not privy of, but if that's not the case, we need to collectively do something about this.
