THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RIVERTON HAS EXPANDED THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH TO INCLUDE PORTIONS OF WYOMING...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS...CASPER MOUNTAIN....GREEN MOUNTAINS AND RATTLESNAKE RANGE...LANDER FOOTHILLS...NATRONA COUNTY LOWER ELEVATIONS AND WIND RIVER BASIN.UNTIL 10 PM MDT THIS EVENING

* SUB TROPICAL MOISTURE WILL OVERRIDE A SURFACE FRONT TODAY. SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL FALL OUT OF THE STRONGER STORM CORES WITH UP TO AN INCH OF PRECIPITATION FALLING IN SHORT ORDER...WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING.

* ROCK OR MUD SLIDES WILL BE POSSIBLE IN STEEPLY SLOPED AREAS... ESPECIALLY AROUND CASPER MOUNTAIN.
